Swing Gates

Single swing gates are gates that when closed, cover the traffic area completely and have a pivot point or hinge on only one side. When there is only one gate installed the application would only require one operator and control unit. A double swing gate uses two gates (one on the left and right) to completely close off the traffic opening. These gates would have opposing pivot points and would require two gate operators with one control unit. Swing gates tend to be used to provide an esthetically pleasing structure. In addition, they offer fewer moving parts than a cantilever gate and thus should require less overall maintenance.
